Wen-lin: Studies in the Chinese Humanities, Vol. II Edited by Tse-tsung Chow
內容簡介
The first collection of Wen-lin was edited by the eminent
Sinologue Chow Tse-tsung of the University of Wisconsin and published
in the late sixties. It was well received in Sinological circles. The
articles for the second collection were as brilliant as the previous
one. This collection include articles by W.A.C.H. Dobson, Chow Tse-tsung,
D.C. Lau and Liu Wu-chi, amongst others, and topics range from the Odes,
the Hsun tzu and the Han fei tzu of the Pre-Ch'in period
to the P'I-pa chi and the His-yu pu of the Ming, covering
the fields of philosophy, literature, fine arts, linguistics and translation.
There is something to interest everyone in the field of Sinology. After
correcting all the discovered misprints, N.T.T. Chinese Language Research
Centre republished this volume in paperback form.
